Job Description
Role
This is a supervisory/leading hand role. You will be responsible primarily in ensuring the highest standard of quality workmanship and in maximising service sales and profitability by enhancing productivity and customer service through proper training, appropriate job allocation, efficient work scheduling and follow up, as well as effective team management.
In the absence of the Automotive Service Manager, you will be overall in-charge of the business; carrying out front line work, booking jobs, preparing quotes, processing payments, and attending to critical concerns of customers and staff, including workshop supplies.
Requirements
• Trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Motor Mechanic
• NSW Motor Repairer Tradesperson Certificate
• Current or previous lead role experience in the auto retail service industry would be ideal
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong drive to succeed and excellent leadership abilities
